☉Technical rules to be observed for the competition:

1.Slingshot:It can be made of a variety of materials and shapes, but it must be a Slingshot (catapult) that uses rubber bands as a source of kinetic energy.

1.1.Slingshots with following characteristics are prohibited:

1.1.1. The slingshot is over 30cm in length or over 25cm in width.

1.1.2. The slingshot that use a wrist brace to increase stability.

1.1.3. The slingshot with infrared set or auxiliary light sight.

1.1.4. The slingshot with a with pre-launch device.

2. Rubber band:various latex band or tube can be used.

3.Ammunition:steel balls with a diameter of 9mm or smaller can be used. Pellets other than steel balls, such as lead pellets, clay pellets and glass balls, are prohibited.

4.Assisting equipment：use of telescopes is allowed when shoottarget sheet.

☉Targets:

1.Knock-down target: the bottom of the target is 1.4m away from the ground, and the transverse interval between the targets is 10cm. Target color: white.

1.1. The target set consists of 5 discs of different sizes arranged horizontally.

The 5 discs have different scores:

First left disk diameter 8 cm - Scoring value 2 points

Second left disk diameter 7 cm - Value 4 points

Third disc from left diameter 6 cm - Value 6 Points

Fourth disc from left diameter 5 cm - Value 8 Points

Fifth disk from left 4 cm - Value 10 Points

Miss the disc- get 0 points

2. Target sheet -five Circle Silhouette Paper (for competition)

The yellow area is 4 cm in diameter- Value 10-9 points

The red area is 8 cm in diameter- Value 8-7 points

The blue area is 12 cm in diameter- Value 6-5 points

☉ Target distance: 

1. Knock-down target: 10 meters 、15 meters

☉ Shooting Series and Run Time:

1. Knock-down target 

1.1、Each shooter will have 5 shoots (one sphere for each shot) and it will have 150 seconds to complete. - The shooting sequence of the 5 discs is unrestricted.

1.2、Shootercan start shooting only when the referee gives the start signal, and must stop when the referee indicates the end of the shooting (Shooting against the referee's instructions will be ruled invalid), shooter can leave the field only when the referee signals the shooters to leave.

1.3、A disc will score only if it is completely knocked down(and confirmed by the referee).

2. Target sheet -five Circle Silhouette Paper

2.1、Each shooter will have 10 shoots (one sphere for each shot, only 2 shots per circle) and it will have 5 minutes to complete. - The shooting sequence of the 5 circles is unrestricted.

2.2、Shooter can start shooting only when the referee gives the start signal, and must stop when the referee indicates the end of the shooting (Shooting against the referee's instructions will be ruled invalid), shooter can leave the field only when the referee signals the shooters to leave.

2.3、If there are more than 2 shots on each circle, only the lowest 2 shots are counted.

2.4、If a shot is between two sectors but cutting the line, the higher score will be awarded.

2.5、None shot on the circle counts 0 points.

☉ Competition schedule:

1. The CSCC International Slingshot Invitational Tournament is divided into four stages: knock-down target shooting, target sheet shooting, the final and the team competition. The result accumulates from the first round to the final.

1.1. In the first stage, there will be 4 rounds of knock-down target shooting (10 meters and 15 meters, 2 rounds each)

1.2. In the second stage, the top 50% of the shooters in the first 4 rounds of knock-down target shooting will be selected for the 1st round of target sheet competition. Anyone with the same score as lowest scorer of the top 50% of last stage, can enter the target sheet competition.

1.3. In the third stage, the top 20 shooters in the first 5 rounds will be selected for the final. The final will feature 7 rounds of 15 meters knock-down target shooting. The first round eliminates 10 shooters (rank 11 to 20),the second round out 2shooters (rank 9, 10), the 3rd round out 2 shooters (rank 7, 8),the4th round out 2 shooters (rank 5, 6), the 5th round out 1 shooter (rank 4), the 6th round out 1 shooter (the bronze), the 7th round determines the winner and runner-up.

1.3.1. The competition results are accumulated from the first round to the final. When the final ranking shows the same score, the one with higher score of the target sheet shooting wins out.

1.4. Team competition: Each country or region can form 2 teams to participate in the team competition, 4 shooters each team, the 8 shooters are top 8 of each country’s shooters in individual competition selected directly by the competition scoring system. The names of the team members will be announced on the spot.

1.4.1、Each team will shoot 3 rounds of 15 meters knock-down target. The team's total score is the sum of the scores of the 4 shooters. The score of the team with the higher score of the two teams will be deemed as the score of the country team in the competition.

1.4.2、When two or more teams share the same score, an extra round of target sheet shooting will be played to determine the ranking. When the same score occurs again, the team with the highest target sheet score wins.

1.4.3、If the shooters of a country team less than 4,they are allowed to form an united team with other countries shooters who are in similar situation to take part in the team competition( countries that already have 2 teams are excluded).

☉ Other competition rules:

1. Practice in the assigned area and observe the safety regulations.

2. Entry to the competition must be accompanied by the entry certificate issued by the tournament.

3. The competition instructions must be strictly observed. If the competitors fail to enter the competition on time, the score of this round will be 0 points.

4. Shooters are not allowed to participate in the competition with their coat open, shirtless, barefoot or in slippers.

5. The preparation period for each round of competition is 1 minute, during which the shooters must enter the track and place the specified quantity of steel balls in the designated positions.

6. The shooters shall not exceed the prescribed width of the circuit. All shooters shall stand outside the race line with both feet, if step on or cross the line, the score of this round will be 0 points.

7. Shooters are not allowed to start shooting before the referee signals. If do not follow this rule or start shooting at will, the score of this round will be 0 points.

8. If the number of shooting exceeds the required number, the score of this round will be 0 points.

9. If the shooter keeps shooting after the referee signaled to stop shooting, the score of this round will be 0 points.

10. The shooters shall uniformly withdraw from the competition field in accordance with the instruction of the referee.

11. If the rubber band breaks during the competition, the replacement of spare equipment can be adopted. The replacement of rubber band on site is only completed before the termination signal of this round of competition. Do not borrow the equipment of any other person on the competition field, and do not pass any equipment or accessories from outside, otherwise the score of this round will be 0 points.

12. Those who do not respect the referee or obey the referee's instructions shall be disqualified from the competition.

☉ Ranking and award setting:

1.The men's group takes the first 20 places

2.Top 5 in the women's group

3.Top 5 in team competition

☉ Overall schedule of the event:

1. Welcome banquet at 18:30 p.m. on November 15, 2019;           
2. On November 16, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., WSA meeting, athletes were registered and checked in.           
3. On November 16, 2019, at 14:00 p.m., the competition venue adapted to training;           
4. Competition on November 17, 2019, 8:30 a.m.

☉ Registration:

1.Teams from all countries are requested to complete the registration before October 1, 2019. The maximum number of participants in each team is 15.

2.The registration fee is 200 yuan, including lunch on November 17th and a bottle of drinking water.
